Tin & Home Decor is a small South African online store, providing uniquely designed and handcrafted farm style items, made by local artisans and crafters. Each product is made to order, and can be customised and personalised for its specific need.
Established in 2018, this Johannesburg-based mother-daughter duo, Madeleen and Gabriela Stewart, can turn all your country style Pinterest dreams into reality while uplifting and training local artisans to take their trade to a whole new level with our elaborate designs.
The passion behind T&HD
Each item is handmade by our five entrepreneurial suppliers Kennedy Gotora (Tin), Justice Maloka (Wrought-iron), Wayne Holgate (Wood), Wessie van der Westhuizen (Wood and Wrought-iron) and Lawrence Tembo (Wire), and then patiently galvanised and treated by Peter Bamusi.
The concept of our store began after the realisation that, despite having an enormous amount of talented people in South Africa, most of them lack the entrepreneurial skills to run a successful business. With that said, our dream of supporting and encouraging local craftsmen to think out of the box and stretch themselves within their skill began.
Our carefully crafted products are created with love, not just for our amazing customers, but for our craftsmen too. We value every customer that joins the Tin & Home Decor family!
